Gillette gave the public the chance to try out the new Gillette and Venus razors by offering complimentary shaves at shopping centres, city centres and festivals around the country.

The activity lasted 25 consecutive weeks and in this time our team distributed 350,000 samples of the new range and our professional barbers shaved over 4,300 men.

The campaign was a brilliant success, attracting footfall of 2.45 million, an impressive 75,000 prize draw entries, and had a high impact on consumers’ propensity to purchase.
